Hands on fire.
Aim: i want to safely light my hands on fire. Before we do this activity we need to be aware of the safety features.
In pairs you need to come up with a list of 5 safety items that need to be considered when doing this experiment.
1. Tie up long hair.
2.No food or drinks.
3.Wear safety glasses.
4.Know where the fire extinguisher is.
5.Must wear closed toe shoes.
Instructions
1.Collect you equipment.
2.Put some water into the tray.
3.Squirt some detergent into the water.
4.Put on safety glasses.
5.Tie up any long hair.
6. Take off your jewellery.
7.Wet your hands,Wrist and Arms.
8.Bubble the gas into the water.
9.Scoop the bubbles but not the water.
10.Hold the bubbles in front of your face with your arms locked.

Counting the beat

-Do not taste or touch anything you are unsure of in the lab.
-Do not eat or drink n the science lab.
-Always wear safety glasses when you are doing an experiment.

1. Line up outside the classroom.
2. Come inside the classroom quietly.
3. On entering the room show Mr that you are ready to learn by getting out your chrome book quietly.
4. Never run in the science laboratory.
5. Do not eat or drink in a science laboratory.
6. When you are using fire or doing an experiment you must wear safety glasses.
7. Bags are to be stored under your table.

Someone in the basement...
6:36.Am I woke up in shock. I heard a noise coming from the basement, a sort of dripping sound. I started to get frustrated. I couldn't even get back to sleep. I went to see what it was. I walked past my parents room. They weren't there. There was a small trail of blood. Next I found an arm. I burst into tears and fell to the ground screaming. That wasn't a good idea. I got a chill down my spine. I felt like someone was there with me. I turned around. There was someone. If not someone it must have been something…
