Growth mindset

A growth mindset to me is when you let your mind is ready to learn and improve.

When someone is tackling something hard i try and keep them company and make sure they know i care. When i had a fixed mindset i didn't want to learn anything or do anything and the impact it had wasn't good at all now i'm in in intermediate  and i don't know half the stuff i should know.

Word	I have never seen this before	I have seen this word before	Write the sentence the word is used	I think this word means…..	Expert definition….
Pigsty			Well it's not ok and you know it. It's a pigsty a rubbish dump. that's what it is	When someone or something makes a place or area really really messy.	A partly covered pen for pigs.
Comfortable			Tim sits in a comfortable chair and watches joe work.	A place that you like that is soft smooth also nice and relaxing.	Something providing ease and relaxation.
Machine			Wow look at the dust! And sweets with fluff on them stickers, tissues and coins… the machine is not even choking.	Something made out of metal and gears.	Any device that transmits a force or directs its application
Responsible			It has to be a good job or mum will think the cleaners not working properly. She made me responsible.	When someone is being good and very trustworthy.	Being capable of being trusted.

In the text it says….	My connection….	I felt….. because
Mum - “Well it’s not ok and you know it. It’s a Pigsty, a rubbish dump. That’s what it is.”	My mum always tells me to clean my room and its sooooo annoying	I felt annoyed because she always says it in a mean voice -__-
Joe - “Hi Tim! What about coming for a bike ride?” Tim - “I can’t at the moment, Joe. Mum’s vacuum cleaner’s almost worn out and i’m testing it.”	I could not go to my own sisters birthday party. because I was at my nana's house.	I felt guilty because my nana wanted to go out and her party was on the same day as us going out and she was sad that i did not come.
Ryan - “We did your dirty work!” Joe - “You planned the whole thing”  Tim - “You’re my friend. I knew you wouldn’t mind	When my friends danni and Jamie ask me if I can help cleaning their room but I don't mind.	I felt ok with that because I like tidying up because when and if you finish you feel accomplished.
Ryan - ill do a job i promise.	One time I promised my mum i would start helping out more around the house.	I felt good because mum was proud of me. because I do  help a lot more around the house.
